Head Designer Sara Munro began her journey upcycling vintage leather jackets, denim and uniforms, giving them new form and function as leather goods. Reworking vintage pieces continues to be an important influence for our brand, this heritage is infused in new collections.

Company of Strangers is designed in Dunedin and made in New Zealand, our craftspeople reside in Auckland, Tauranga, Nelson and Dunedin. Their experience, love and wisdom gives Company of Strangers’ garments the high quality each piece deserves
